What we collect
Account details (name, email address), the resume files you upload and the text extracted from them, your job preferences, and the match, ATS and saved-role records generated from that input.
How we use it
Your data is used to analyse your resume, score open roles against your profile, generate ATS keyword coverage, and send the notifications you enable. We do not sell your data, and we do not share your resume with employers.
AI processing
Resume text and role descriptions are sent to our AI provider to produce the written analysis and rewrite suggestions. Only the text needed for that request is sent.
Access controls
Resume files are stored in a private bucket, and database rows are restricted so that each account can only read and write its own records. Authentication supports email sign-in and Google sign-in.
Retention and deletion
Your records are kept while your account is active. In Settings you can delete your resume along with its extracted text, stored file, analysis, ATS results and match scores, or delete your whole account — resumes, preferences, matches, saved roles and notification settings — in one step. Both actions take effect immediately and cannot be undone. Payment records are retained only as long as our payment processor and tax rules require.
We send account emails (sign-in, password reset and email changes) and billing emails you would expect from a purchase — your receipt, a reminder before a Job Search Pass runs out, and notices about a plan you cancelled. If enabled, we also send high-match alerts, saved-search alerts, trial reminders and a weekly summary. You can turn the optional emails off in settings; account and billing emails are part of running your account.
